Terms of Service
1. Provider and contact
The contracting provider is Szilveszter Gutyina, a UK sole trader trading as Sly Spectrum, using the Web Spectrum brand. Sly Spectrum is a trading name, not a separate company. Business and correspondence address: 108B Askew Road, London, W12 9BL, United Kingdom. Email: info@webspectrum.hu. English telephone: +44 7455 277085; Hungarian: +36 30 290 7209. The provider is not UK VAT registered and does not have a company registration number as a limited company.
Website hosting: DotRoll Számítástechnikai Kft., 1148 Budapest, Fogarasi út 3–5, Hungary; support@dotroll.com; +36 1 432 3232; provider details.
2. Scope and contract language
These terms cover the Start, Business and Webshop website creation packages. A booking means an order for a website, not a selected calendar appointment or automatic immediate start. Each package is a one-off service, not a subscription. The package description, agreed written project brief and these terms together define the service. Additional terms require express agreement and cannot remove mandatory consumer rights.
A consumer is an individual acting outside their trade, business, craft or profession. An individual ordering a business website is not necessarily a consumer. The contract and correspondence may be in Hungarian or English, as selected when ordering. The order, acceptance email, package information and applicable version of these terms are retained electronically. Copies can be requested by email. There is no customer account or online contract archive.
3. Packages and total prices
| Package | Total one-off fee | Included scope |
|---|---|---|
| Start | HUF 50,000 | One scrolling page, up to five sections; one language using your supplied text and images; contact form and clickable contact details; mobile-friendly layout and basic search optimisation; first year of one standard-price .hu domain. |
| Business | HUF 100,000 | Up to five content pages including the homepage; one language with supplied text and images; services, price list, gallery and focused enquiry; assistance with social content, advertising videos and business profiles; three months of launch support; first year of one standard-price .hu domain. |
| Webshop | HUF 200,000 | Upload of ten simple products without variants; one language using supplied product information and images; product pages, cart and order management; connection of one supported payment provider; assistance with social content, advertising videos and business profiles; three months of launch support; first year of one standard-price .hu domain. |
All packages include unlimited refinement rounds within the agreed scope before handover. This does not include unlimited new pages, new features, a complete change of concept or ongoing content management after handover. Extra work is identified and quoted separately and requires your prior express agreement.
The offer applies to orders placed by 24 December 2026, 23:59:59 Hungary time, and accepted under these terms. Later price changes do not change an existing contract. These HUF amounts are the full website creation fees, not monthly instalments. The provider is not UK VAT registered and does not charge UK VAT. This is not a statement of a zero VAT rate or Hungarian small-business VAT exemption. No unagreed surcharge is added to an accepted order.
Hosting, subsequent domain renewal, separately charged SSL, paid platforms, licences, advertising spend and the payment processing charges of your own future shop are outside the package. They are not surcharges for buying this package. Paid external services and expected charges must be agreed in advance. Copywriting, photography, logo design, translation, extra languages, custom development and legal documents for your own website require a separate agreement. The quantity and scope of social-media assistance, platform choice, system requirements, portability restrictions and recurring third-party services must be clarified before the contract. Basic search optimisation does not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue or social results.
4. Ordering and contract formation
- Select a package on the homepage, then review its content, price and terms on the order page. You can change the package or correct information before completing checkout.
- Accept the Terms expressly. Reading the Privacy Notice is not general consent for marketing or all data processing. Stripe checkout records acceptance of the Terms with the payment.
- Enter your email, full name and billing address at Stripe checkout. Business name is optional; a phone number is not required. The final checkout button makes the payment obligation clear.
- A successful payment submits your order offer and pays the full advance. The Stripe receipt and automatic acknowledgements do not themselves constitute the provider's acceptance of the contract.
- After online payment, complete and submit the website project information form using the same email address as at checkout. Submitting it does not prove payment and does not create a second charge.
- I will contact you within 24 hours of successful payment to clarify the project and arrange handover. Missing project information does not postpone this contact promise.
- The contract is formed when you receive the provider's express acceptance email. It states the package, fee, agreed work, start conditions, delivery deadline and applicable Terms version, and supplies a retainable copy of the Terms and consumer information. Any change to your offer needs your separate acceptance.
Receipt of the order is acknowledged electronically without undue delay. If no acknowledgement reaches you within 48 hours, the provider will not hold you bound by the offer or contract; any more favourable mandatory right remains unaffected. If the provider cannot accept, you are informed promptly and the advance is refunded in full without undue delay. An obvious pricing or technical error does not require you to accept a higher price. Consumers may withdraw an offer before contract formation where applicable.
5. Payment and invoicing
The entire fee is payable in a single payment through Stripe's hosted checkout, using the payment methods shown there. This is an advance towards the service fee, not an automatically non-refundable deposit or separate capacity reservation fee. Web Spectrum does not receive your full card number or CVC/CVV. Payment is verified in Stripe; a return URL or form submission does not establish payment. Contact us before paying again if a payment is uncertain.
The base price is in HUF. If checkout offers another currency, its converted amount and conversion terms are shown before payment. Choose HUF to pay the listed HUF amount. Your bank's own conversion terms may apply.
Stripe makes the payment receipt and post-payment PDF invoice available by email. The provider is responsible for the invoice and any correction required for the transaction. The invoice identifies Szilveszter Gutyina and Sly Spectrum with the business address. It is not a UK VAT invoice. Contact info@webspectrum.hu about missing emails or invoice errors. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to a different method at no extra cost. Legally refundable amounts are not arbitrarily reduced by a Stripe handling fee.
6. Start, delivery and support
Start: within 24 hours. Business: within 24 hours. Webshop: within 48 hours when all required information is available. These are continuous elapsed hours, not working days. Time starts at the later of receipt of the full payment and receipt of all required project information, text, images, product data and access. Missing materials are identified specifically and their completion time is recorded. Sending the acceptance email late does not restart or postpone a deadline already running.
Work requires contract acceptance, verified payment, complete materials that can lawfully be used and lawful authority to start. A consumer who does not request early performance will have work and the delivery clock start no earlier than the end of the 14-day cancellation period, without a surcharge. Missing information, delays or changed requirements are discussed in writing; there is no unlimited automatic extension.
You can review a preview and request refinements within the agreed scope. Handover is recorded by email or a handover list, including files, access, licences, platform restrictions and any remaining tasks. Silence does not waive defects or statutory rights. Business and Webshop include three months of assistance with the agreed solution from handover. This is not new development, ongoing operation, round-the-clock availability or unlimited content uploading unless separately agreed. Domain, hosting and external-service ownership, contracting parties, renewal responsibilities and access are recorded. External platform problems do not automatically exclude the provider's responsibility for their own breach.
7. Content and usage rights
You must be entitled to use supplied text, images, brands and personal information and authorise their use as needed for the project. Do not put sensitive personal information, card details or passwords in public project forms.
On full payment and handover, you receive a non-exclusive licence, without territorial or time limits, to operate, commercially use, copy and modify the provider's own delivered work for the website. You may appoint another developer to maintain it. Available source files and platform portability restrictions are agreed before the contract. Third-party fonts, images, templates, plugins and services remain subject to their own licences; their ownership or unrestricted resale rights are not transferred. Exclusivity of AI-generated elements cannot be guaranteed. Their use and relevant restrictions must be clarified. The provider may reuse general-purpose solutions in other projects. Your name, logo, non-public material or project is used as a reference only with an appropriate legal basis and agreed permission; purchase is not blanket marketing consent.
8. Consumer cancellation and early performance
Consumers have 14 days from contract formation to cancel without giving a reason. If performance has started at your express request, you may terminate within that period. Sending the statement before the deadline is sufficient. Missing legally required cancellation information may extend the period.
Notify Szilveszter Gutyina / Sly Spectrum at the address above, email info@webspectrum.hu, or use Withdraw from the contract. Enter your name, details identifying the contract and your confirmation email address, then select “Confirm withdrawal”. The form sends an email copy of the submission; the email receipt time provides the service's receipt timestamp. The optional model below can also be used, but any clear, identifiable statement is sufficient. Lack of a contract number, a project form or use of this particular form does not invalidate an otherwise identifiable statement.
To start during the cancellation period, separately and expressly request early performance and acknowledge its consequences. Neither payment, general acceptance of these terms nor the bespoke nature of the website automatically removes cancellation rights. The project form provides separate, unticked optional declarations; a retainable email request is also possible. A copy is acknowledged.
If you properly requested early performance and received the required information, then cancel within the period before completion, you owe only a proportionate amount for services actually performed up to notification, calculated from the agreed total price and demonstrable performance; if the total price is excessive, market value applies. The calculation is explained. Without the required request or information, costs that the law excludes cannot be charged.
The right ends on full performance only if performance began with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that full performance would end the right. Separately supplied digital content may have different conditions; these terms do not presume any automatic loss of rights for it.
The refundable amount is returned without undue delay and within 14 days of notification. There is no automatic total forfeiture or cancellation penalty. Business cancellations and termination outside the consumer period are governed by the contract and applicable law, accounting for actual performance, lawful costs and the advance. Rights relating to breach remain unaffected.
9. Quality, statutory remedies and liability
The provider must deliver the agreed content and functionality with the care and skill required by applicable law. Report problems to info@webspectrum.hu, ideally with the page, observed behaviour and reproduction details; incomplete technical descriptions do not remove rights.
Mandatory consumer rights remain in full. Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, remedies include correction or repeat performance, an appropriate price reduction and termination. For UK consumers this includes applicable rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For Hungarian consumers, applicable Civil Code and digital-content/service protections remain available, including the generally applicable two-year limitation for conformity claims; ongoing digital services and other special cases may differ. Applicable legal rules determine time limits, evidence, costs and order of remedies. Report defects promptly; where Hungarian consumer rules apply, notice within two months of discovering the defect is treated as timely. Required updates and other mandatory digital-service rights are unaffected.
Launch support does not replace or shorten statutory remedies. A voluntary guarantee exists only if expressly offered, without affecting any compulsory guarantee. A third-party modification is assessed according to its causal effect, not as a blanket loss of all rights. Liability is governed by applicable law; there is no general exclusion for the provider's breach, deliberate wrongdoing or injury to life, body or health.
10. Complaints and disputes
Complain by email, telephone or post using the details above. Oral complaints are investigated and resolved promptly where possible; required records are supplied. Written consumer complaints receive a reasoned substantive reply within 30 days. Complaint and response records are retained for three years where the Hungarian consumer rule applies, and longer only where needed for a specific legal claim or obligation.
Try resolving the issue directly first. Consumers may contact an applicable authority, alternative dispute resolution body or court under the relevant jurisdiction rules. Hungarian consumers can consult the competent body for their residence at bekeltetes.hu about cross-border procedures. UK consumers can consult Citizens Advice. The provider does not undertake blanket voluntary arbitration or ADR participation for every dispute, but fulfils any mandatory cooperation and information duties. Consumers are not confined to the provider's local courts.
11. Privacy and other provisions
See the separate Privacy Notice. Marketing or reference-use consent is not a condition of service. A new terms version applies to later contracts and does not unilaterally change existing ones. Applicable cross-border conflict-of-law rules determine governing law; consumers retain mandatory protections applicable in their country of habitual residence. No clause restricts mandatory remedies or imposes an exclusive court that removes consumer rights. Any invalid provision is handled under applicable law.
12. Optional model statements
Cancellation
Optional early performance request
I expressly request that the provider starts the service before the 14-day cancellation period ends. I acknowledge that I lose my cancellation right once the service has been fully performed. If I cancel within the period after work starts but before completion, I must pay a proportionate amount for the services actually provided at my request, subject to the required prior information.
